As an author Tony Mitton uses rhyme and onomatopoeia.
He uses animals as his minor characters.
He has no problems at all, but instead he uses his stories to teach us about vehicles.
He does not use many metephors, hyperbole, or similes.
He was born in 1951 in North Africa and now lives in cambridge.
He is a primary school teacher and has a cat called tiggy.
He won silver in the 2000 Nestle Smarties Book Prize.
I think these are good books but I would not recommend them
for over five year olds.

Magaret Mahy by Josh
As an writer Magaret Mahy studied phiosophy at Univesity in Aukland and Christchurch. she qualified as a libarian speacialing in Children's reading even though she was a New Zealander she was a big hit. she writes scary stories funny stories sad stories and even a few boring stories. she has a big mix with Animals and Human's and she writes about some crazy stories such as the dragon's telephone. some people think she's dead but she's still with us. she always does similes imagrey metaphors hyperboles and other stuff. she rhyming and making pattern's. she's really famous for her age.
