Lynley Dodd by Kaitlyn Calvert - Shandley

Lynley Dodd is a writer that writes mainly picture books. She writes all about animals, and she also writes the well-known Hairy Maclary books.

Lynley doesn't use similes in her books, but she does use onomatopoeia or alliterations, and sometimes both.

She mainly sets her problems outside, and she also makes her books more interesting by using hyperboles.

I love how she usually has a happy ending, and how she always sets a image in your mind. Lynley Dodd was born in Roturoa, New Zealand 1941 and is also a art teacher.
